MedTech Solutions S.A., a NewConnect-listed company rapidly expanding in the field of modern healthcare technologies, has signed a distribution agreement with MACS Sterilisationsanlagen GmbH, based in Vienna, Austria. The subject of the agreement is cooperation between the two companies in the sale of MACS medical waste management systems.

The cooperation model, combining a flexible trial period with clearly defined rules for transitioning into a long-term relationship, allows us to scale our business effectively while limiting operational risks. Thanks to the partner’s technical and training support, we are well prepared to develop the market and achieve the planned sales volumes in 2026–2027. We believe that MACS solutions, which respond to growing environmental requirements and cost pressures in healthcare, will attract strong interest among Polish medical institutions,” said Jarosław Kaim, President of the Management Board of MedTech Solutions S.A.
Under the agreement, MedTech Solutions S.A. has become the exclusive distributor of the products in Poland. The company will be responsible for sales, marketing and promotional activities, active customer acquisition, market development, and the building of a sales network. MACS has committed to supporting the company in the implementation of the agreement by providing technical and commercial documentation, sharing up-to-date information on the products, sales terms and price changes, as well as organizing training sessions for staff. As part of the implementation of the cooperation, MedTech Solutions S.A. will present MACS with a proposal for product sales volumes in Poland for 2026–2027, which will be confirmed by both parties within six weeks of signing the agreement.
Under the terms of the agreement, MedTech Solutions S.A. holds exclusive distribution rights for the products in Poland. Unless terminated, the agreement will automatically move into a two-year long-term cooperation phase, with the possibility of an automatic extension for another five years if neither party gives notice within the required timeframe.
MACS systems are technologically advanced solutions that integrate the mechanical shredding of waste with steam sterilization under vacuum conditions. The entire process takes place in a closed and fully controlled environment, ensuring a high level of operational safety. These solutions are used primarily in hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and other healthcare institutions where safe and efficient medical waste management is of critical importance.
MACS technology is characterized by very high sterilization efficiency, a reduction in waste volume of up to 97%, and a short cycle time of around 60 minutes. A key advantage is the ability to process waste directly at the point where it is generated, eliminating the need to transport hazardous materials and significantly reducing operating costs compared with traditional methods such as incineration. The system does not generate pollutant emissions, which supports ESG strategies and helps meet growing environmental and regulatory requirements.
The value of the medical waste market in Poland amounts to PLN 1.2 billion, and the technology offered by MACS is one of the most advanced in Europe. It can reduce medical waste management costs by up to ten times.
