Matexi Polska Plans Record Revenue of PLN 500 Million in 2025

COMPANIESMatexi Polska Plans Record Revenue of PLN 500 Million in 2025

Matexi Polska, a developer with Belgian roots, has summarized its 2024 results and unveiled ambitious growth plans for 2025. The company aims for a significant increase in operations, with a planned surge in completed housing handovers expected to achieve record revenue of approximately PLN 500 million. The developer also targets its highest-ever sales on the Polish market, with nearly 500 units planned for sale and preparations for over 400 additional units in the Private Rented Sector (PRS) segment.

In 2024, Matexi Polska, active in the Warsaw and Kraków markets, sold a total of 318 apartments (down from 461 in 2023). Over the past year, the developer handed over 282 units to buyers.

“We view 2024 positively. In our key markets of Warsaw and Kraków, we’ve achieved a balance between supply and demand, with property price growth aligning closely with inflation,” commented MirosÅ‚aw Bednarek, Regional Business Director and CEO of Matexi Polska.

“We launched five new projects: three in Warsaw (Splot Wola, Å»elazna 54, and XYZ Place) and two in Kraków (Apartamenty Portowa and Takt Lirników). Despite challenging market conditions, including high credit costs and the absence of government support for buyers, we signed developer agreements worth nearly PLN 400 million, with only a 10% decline compared to the previous year. This reflects the stability of our position and the trust customers have in the Matexi brand,” added Bednarek.

2025: A Year of Growth and Expansion

In 2025, Matexi Polska plans to further strengthen its market position. The focus will be on accelerating work to secure building permits for plots acquired in recent years. In 2024 alone, the developer invested nearly PLN 200 million in purchasing new land in Warsaw’s Mokotów and Wola districts, as well as in Kraków’s Podgórze Duchackie area.

“We’re optimistic about 2025, which may bring a revival in the primary market. Anticipated interest rate cuts should improve access to mortgage loans. We also expect increased interest from institutional rental sector funds. We estimate signing nearly 500 preliminary and developer agreements with individual clients and preparing over 400 additional units for sale under PRS projects. Our land bank includes projects for more than 3,000 apartments, including flagship investments like XYZ Place and Splot Wola, placing us among the market leaders in Poland. We also plan further land acquisitions in our serviced metropolitan areas,” explained Bednarek.

Record Housing Handovers and Revenue

In 2025, Matexi Polska plans to accelerate the handover process for completed units, which should translate into a significant increase in sales revenue. According to the plan, the developer will hand over approximately 450 apartments to buyers, with a total value of around PLN 500 million. The year will also be notable as the company celebrates its 15th anniversary in the Polish real estate market.
