JRH ASI S.A., a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, has officially inaugurated the ORBITEO project — a new technology holding focused on developing solutions in the space, defence and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors. During the launch, the company revealed the organizational structure, operating model and integration roadmap for its portfolio companies. Fluence Technology, a leading producer of advanced industrial lasers, was announced as a new Partner — enhancing ORBITEO’s expertise in photonics and dual-use precision technologies.

The project was formally launched during a conference at ICE Kraków, led by January Ciszewski, CEO of JRH. Framework agreements were signed, defining the principles of cooperation between JRH and the companies that will form part of the holding. ORBITEO is designed to operate as the central engine for developing breakthrough technologies and scaling value across the portfolio.

“Today, we are unveiling — for the first time — the structure and mission of ORBITEO. We are building an entity designed not only to develop technologies of strategic importance but also to scale them globally. This initiative aims to actively reinforce Polish and European technological sovereignty by integrating competencies, capital and talent. The technologies developed within the holding will have both defence and civilian applications. I am delighted to welcome Fluence Technology as a Partner — their photonics expertise is a perfect fit for the ecosystem we are building,”
said January Ciszewski, CEO and major shareholder of JRH.

A Scalable Dual-Use Technology Holding

ORBITEO will operate as a separate joint-stock company, with JRH retaining a majority stake. It will function as an investment holding under the structure of an Alternative Investment Company (ASI), providing flexible capital mechanisms and the ability to invest in technology companies at various stages of development.

Its strategic mission is to build the value of portfolio companies and scale their operations internationally. Among ORBITEO’s core objectives are:

  • raising capital to fuel technological development,
  • supporting international expansion,
  • building brand visibility of ORBITEO and its portfolio (through global trade fairs, defence expos and innovation conferences),
  • cooperating with academic and R&D institutions,
  • establishing a Scientific Advisory Board and Expert Council,
  • ensuring knowledge transfer and access to strategic consulting.

Incubation, Guarantees & Deep Integration

ORBITEO will also launch a Space / AI / DeepTech incubator for early-stage projects — including dedicated funding mechanisms. It will provide bank guarantees and insurance support for portfolio companies, beyond what individual firms could secure on their own.

The holding will coordinate joint commercial strategies, shared R&D pipelines and operational synergies — enabling a unified dual-use market offer.

It will further ensure legal, administrative and financial support, and coordinate consortia for public and defence procurement in both domestic and international tenders. Under IFRS, ORBITEO will function as a separate investment entity in relation to JRH.

Development Roadmap

The ORBITEO rollout is planned in three phases:

  • within 6 months — formal company structuring,
  • within 12 months — transfer of shares from portfolio companies to ORBITEO in exchange for equity and selective new issuances,
  • within 3–12 months — onboarding of first external investors into the ASI.

ORBITEO may additionally acquire equity stakes from existing co-owners where strategically justified.

Founding Partners and Strategic Capabilities

Several companies had already confirmed participation in ORBITEO and today formalised their commitment:

  • SatRev — Poland’s only company with an active nanosatellite on orbit (design, manufacturing, mission control, data analytics)
  • Farada Group — full-scale UAV systems production, training and operations in demanding conditions
  • Thorium Space — advanced satellite communication systems, digital payloads and SATCOM terminals
  • CampusAI — AI-based education and simulation platform (defence training, decision support, disinformation resilience)
  • Miloo-Electronics — advanced electronics and automation manufacturing facility (rapid prototyping to mass production)
  • Sygnis S.A. — 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies (faster prototyping, supply chain independence)
  • CBRTP — private multidisciplinary applied R&D centre (materials engineering, electronics, robotics, AI)

Newly joining partner: Fluence Technology — Polish developer and manufacturer of ultrafast femtosecond lasers for microfabrication, precision engineering, medicine, scientific research and defence applications. Valued for their stability, precision and industrial integration, Fluence systems are a natural building block in modern dual-use and advanced automation solutions.
