JetBrains, a leading global provider of development tools, is expanding its presence in Central Europe. By 2027, the company will establish a world-class research and development (R&D) center in Poland. The new hub will serve as a space for top Polish software developers, built upon JetBrains’ global culture of autonomy and trust.
Poland boasts a strong pool of talented programmers and IT engineers. Around 8,400 computer science graduates complete their studies at Polish technical universities each year. The country’s dynamic education and innovation ecosystem makes it a natural anchor point for JetBrains’ global R&D strategy.

Growth Plans and Hiring Timeline
JetBrains currently employs around 60 people in Poland and aims to increase this number to 80 by the end of the year. By the end of next year, the Polish team is expected to grow to 200 employees. New hires will participate in global projects, including the development of JetBrains’ core products and its cutting-edge AI solutions.
Immediate recruitment efforts are focused on software developers, ML/data engineers, QA engineers, and other technical specialists. The company is also hiring for creative and operational roles — including Marketing, Sales, Design, HR, and Administration — to support both the Polish branch and JetBrains’ global business strategy.
