An interview given to PAP Business sheds light on the future of Ailleron in the year 2025. The company is entering the new year with optimistic forecasts for the IT market. Piotr Piątosa, Vice President of the company, emphasises that the dynamism of the last quarter of 2024 was very positive, which is in line with seasonal trends in the technology industry.
In particular, the development of the Custom Software Development sector appears promising, which, after stagnation in 2024, is expected to grow by 9%. This means that the market for custom software will grow at a pace resulting in multi-billion increases on a global scale.
Growing role of FinTech and digital transformation
In addition to the IT sector, a significant increase in investments is also being seen in the FinTech industry. In Europe in 2024, funds allocated for the development of financial technologies increased by 10% compared to the previous year. Banks and start-ups are increasingly engaging in the modernisation of their systems, which increases the demand for advanced technologies.
Ailleron observes a revival in the market for creating apps and digital banking systems. Projects that were held back in previous years due to budget uncertainties are gaining new momentum in 2025. Customers are returning to investing in app modernisation and digitisation of processes, opening up new opportunities for companies that create custom software.
Foreign expansion as a key challenge
One of Ailleron’s main goals for 2025 is the growth of foreign sales. The company aims to increase its share of international revenues from the current 15% in the FinTech segment to 40-50%. The expansion strategy is based on the strengthening dollar and growing demand for IT services in the United States.
For this purpose, Ailleron is intensifying its operations in North and South America, where the company notes a growing interest in its products. One of the key expansion tools is LiveBank – a platform supporting communication between customers and banking advisors. Ailleron plans to enhance its presence in the international financial markets using this platform.
Challenges and strategies for 2025
Ailleron’s strategy for the coming years includes the development of a partner model and potential acquisitions. The company is collaborating with tech entities such as Ab Initio and MongoDB, allowing it to expand its product portfolio. Furthermore, the company is examining possibilities of acquiring smaller firms specialised in specific technologies.
In the context of the IT industry development, regulations concerning cyber security and artificial intelligence are becoming increasingly important. New regulations like the AI Act force companies to implement advanced security standards. Banks and financial institutions are cautiously implementing AI in their systems, focusing on its use as a tool to support internal processes.
