IKEA Retail Poland closed the 2025 financial year (September 1, 2024 – August 31, 2025) with sales exceeding PLN 6.2 billion, marking a year-on-year increase of around 3%. The company saw a rise in customer numbers both in physical stores (11.1 million, +2.5 p.p.) and online (3.8 million, +10% y/y). The e-commerce channel now accounts for more than 37% of total revenues.
The IKEA mobile app reached 810,000 downloads, and together with the website, recorded nearly 198 million visits. The IKEA Family loyalty program now has 6.7 million members, including 730,000 new participants in 2025.
Investments in Employees and Organizational Stability
Over the past year, IKEA invested PLN 54 million in employee salaries and benefits. The wage gap for comparable positions was 1.29%, while employee turnover fell to 13.9% (from 16.6% the previous year). The company once again earned the Great Place to Work® certification, with 67% of employees rating IKEA as a great place to work.
Sustainable Development in Action
In the area of circular economy, there was a marked increase in interest in furniture buy-back services and second-life product sales. In 2025, customers returned 7,942 products under the “Buy Back & Resell” service, while over 1.87 million pre-owned items found new owners through the “Circular Hub” department.
IKEA’s restaurants continued to promote sustainable food choices, with plant-based dishes accounting for 44% of all meals sold (up from 41% last year).
Renewable Energy and Investments
With the addition of new wind and solar installations, IKEA now operates seven wind farms and one photovoltaic farm in Poland. In 2025, the company generated 652 GWh of renewable energy, contributing to its global goal of climate neutrality.
