Hillwood expands property portfolio near Warsaw by more than 82,000 sq.m.

COMPANIESHillwood expands property portfolio near Warsaw by more than 82,000 sq.m.

Hillwood, a leading developer and investor in the commercial real estate industry, specializing in logistics, warehouse and industrial facilities, has signed an agreement to purchase a warehouse park near Warsaw. The purchased project is a logistics and warehouse facility just 15 km from the center of Warsaw, near Ożarów Mazowiecki.

Hillwood Ożarów III is an A-class logistics park located in the immediate vicinity of national road No. 2 and a short distance to the Pruszków junction, located on the A2 highway (Warsaw-Lodz-Poznan). It consists of four warehouse halls with a total area of approximately 82,000 sq.m. The buildings are certified under the BREEAM standard.

The purchased properties are almost fully commercialized.

– In recent years, we have focused mainly on new construction. However, we are not just a developer, but first and foremost an investor. As it is becoming increasingly difficult to acquire attractive building sites in the Warsaw area, we are also looking to acquire existing projects. This transaction is a good opportunity to expand our Warsaw portfolio, which is part of the company’s long-term strategy,” said Hubert Michalak, CEO of Hillwood Polska.
