Starting in August, Hans Essaadi will assume the role of President of Grupa Żywiec. In his new position, Essaadi will be fully responsible for the company’s growth strategy, profit and loss management, brewery network, and team development. He will report directly to Glenn Caton, President of HEINEKEN for the European region.
This leadership change is linked to Simon Amor, who has led Grupa Żywiec since 2021, taking on a new role as Senior Director Global Transformation, reporting to Dolf van den Brink, CEO of HEINEKEN.
Extensive International Experience
Hans Essaadi is a seasoned executive with extensive experience across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. During his career at HEINEKEN, he has held increasingly senior roles, including Managing Director of HEINEKEN Malaysia Berhad and Al Ahram Beverages in Egypt, consistently driving growth and delivering measurable results.
In his most recent role as Managing Director of Nigerian Breweries, Essaadi successfully boosted the company’s premium segment, enhanced its customer-focused market approach, strengthened a culture of collaboration, and significantly increased operational efficiency. He also guided the Nigerian Breweries team through a challenging economic period marked by significant currency risks, high inflation, and liquidity pressures.
Until Essaadi officially assumes his duties, Simon Amor will continue to hold full responsibility for Grupa Żywiec.
