Greenvolt Signs Agreement to Sell 33.2 MW Wind Farm Portfolio to Enea Nowa Energia

ENERGYGreenvolt Signs Agreement to Sell 33.2 MW Wind Farm Portfolio to Enea Nowa Energia

The transaction, valued at €83.3 million, includes four wind farms at various stages of development, comprising 16 turbines with capacities ranging from 2 to 2.2 MW each. This is another recent deal completed by Greenvolt Group in the Utility-Scale segment, following two previously announced transactions totaling €250 million, aligned with the Group’s asset rotation strategy.

Greenvolt Power, the Greenvolt Group company responsible for large-scale renewable energy projects, is one of the leading players in this segment in Europe. The buyer, Enea Nowa Energia, is a subsidiary of Enea — one of the largest electricity suppliers in Poland.

Greenvolt Power, a leading developer of large-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects and part of Greenvolt Group, has signed an agreement to sell a portfolio of four wind farms in Poland with a total installed capacity of 33.2 MW. The projects are at various stages of completion and have been sold to Enea Nowa Energia for a total of €83.3 million.

The Skibno wind farm, fully operational, is located in northwestern Poland and has an installed capacity of 10 MW. The other three projects are currently under construction, with commercial operation dates (COD) planned for 2026. All are equipped with Vestas V110 turbines — one of the most advanced technologies currently available on the market. The Zaklików farm, located in the Podkarpackie province in southeastern Poland, has an installed capacity of 10 MW. The Nowe Miasto Lubawskie farm, located in northern Poland, has a capacity of 6.6 MW. The Jabłonowo Pomorskie farm, also in northern Poland, has the same installed capacity of 6.6 MW.

“Renewable energy development is not only a strategic direction for us but concrete daily actions. The agreement with Greenvolt Power is another step for Enea toward a strong, green future based on renewable energy sources. We consistently build our portfolio of RES projects, investing in technologies that genuinely impact Poland’s energy security and environmental quality,” said Bartosz Krysta, Vice President for Commercial Affairs at Enea.

“The sale of this portfolio of four wind farms once again confirms Greenvolt’s ability to develop and deliver large-scale renewable energy projects, as well as demonstrates our competence in developing and monetizing them. Last month, we announced the completion of two transactions totaling €250 million, further confirming our asset rotation strategy that involves selling projects at various stages of development,” said João Manso Neto, CEO of Greenvolt Group.

In April, Greenvolt Group announced the completion of the sale of two Utility-Scale projects in Poland — the Sompolno hybrid project and the Pelplin wind farm. The latter was also sold to Enea Nowa Energia, which is now acquiring additional assets.

The previous two transactions brought Greenvolt approximately €250 million in capital. With this €83.3 million deal, the Group executes its strategy of developing and commercializing high-quality renewable energy assets and strengthens its role in the energy transition process.

“Over the past months, we have worked intensively on projects that strengthen our presence in the large-scale RES investment segment. Such acquisitions build real value for the Enea Group, for the country’s energy transition, and consequently for customers. I thank the entire team involved in this project because thanks to our joint effort and commitment, we can boast more green assets in our portfolio,” said Arkadiusz Arusztowicz, CEO of Enea Nowa Energia.

This new investment aligns with the Enea Group Development Strategy until 2035, which assumes dynamic growth of installed renewable energy capacity. Nearly PLN 107.5 billion will be allocated by Enea Group for strategic goals by 2035, with the largest share invested in RES development, energy storage, and distribution grid modernization.

“The sold portfolio is at various development stages. The Skibno farm is already operational, while the other three projects are under construction. Zaklików and Nowe Miasto Lubawskie are scheduled for completion in Q1 2026, and Jabłonowo Pomorskie by the end of next year. These wind farms are proof of our ability to efficiently utilize investments according to our strategy of rotating 70–80% of assets and generating returns for the Group,” added Radek Nowak, CEO of Greenvolt Power.

In the Utility-Scale segment, Greenvolt Group holds a portfolio of 13.2 GW across 18 countries, executing a strategy of rotating 70–80% of projects at the Ready-to-Build (RtB) or Commercial Operation Date (COD) stage.

In Poland, where the Group has operated for over 18 years through Greenvolt Power, the Utility-Scale portfolio includes 731 MW of wind energy, 1,878 MW of solar energy, and 2,712 MW of storage capacity. This positions Greenvolt as one of the leading RES developers in Poland and Europe. At the end of 2024, the Group also launched Greenvolt Next Polska, focusing on decentralized renewable energy solutions for self-consumption, energy efficiency, solar storage, and electromobility in the commercial and corporate segment.
