Green Lanes Group, the producer of eco-friendly and innovative Strumber® materials, made from annual plants using the company’s proprietary plant-based technology, has signed a commercial agreement for the supply of Strumber® with a well-known Polish supplier of materials for the furniture industry.
The agreement is preliminary, with finalization contingent upon meeting specific conditions — notably, the launch of industrial-scale production by Green Lanes and confirmation of production and delivery capabilities. Once these conditions are fulfilled, both parties have committed to signing a final contract.
Expanding Strumber® into the Furniture Industry Supply Chain
The partnership aligns with Green Lanes’ strategy to integrate Strumber® into the supply chains of furniture, joinery, and interior design manufacturers. This is the second commercial agreement for Strumber® concluded in recent days, following the company’s deal with VANK.
“Signing this agreement marks another important step toward the commercialization of Strumber®. Cooperation with a respected and experienced partner—long established in the market with an extensive distribution network—will greatly expand our market reach, which is crucial for implementing innovations like Strumber®. Importantly, Strumber® will be available at all of the partner’s retail locations.
The agreement opens the door to volume distribution, as our partner’s materials are used annually in the production of hundreds of thousands of furniture pieces sold in Poland and across a dozen foreign markets,” said Piotr Pietras, Co-founder, Shareholder, and CEO of Green Lanes S.A.
“The situation in the Polish and broader European furniture industry highlights the urgent need for alternative, stable raw material sources and new development impulses. The sector faces the challenge of diversifying material bases, reducing dependence on imports, and adopting lower-carbon, sustainable solutions without compromising quality or production flexibility. Strumber® addresses these needs — it is an innovative material made from locally sourced annual plants, such as hemp and flax, resistant to geopolitical disruptions and aligned with sustainability and circular economy principles. It provides the industry with a real, lasting solution to raw material shortages,” added Pietras.
Green Lanes Prepares for Industrial-Scale Production
The newly established partnership not only expands Green Lanes’ sales opportunities but also enhances the distributor’s product portfolio, contributing to the advancement of environmentally sustainable standards in both the furniture and construction industries.
Currently, Green Lanes Group is focused on implementing its investment plan, aimed at launching the production plant and initiating industrial-scale Strumber® manufacturing as soon as possible. This milestone is expected to be achieved in the first half of 2026, enabling the company to begin generating recurring revenues, enter a profitability phase, and consistently build value for shareholders.
In its initial stage, Strumber® production volume is estimated at approximately 3,000 m³ per year, with the target production capacity reaching 10,000 m³ annually. Following the plant’s launch and market validation of the product, the company plans to further expand production capacity in subsequent phases.
