Geely is moving into the next stage of its expansion in Poland. One year after entering the market, the Chinese carmaker has built a network of 20 sales locations and plans to launch two additional models before the end of 2026: the large Monjaro EM-i plug-in hybrid SUV and the compact electric E2.

Geely officially entered Poland on 10 July 2025, with distribution handled by Jameel Motors Poland. Its first model was the electric EX5 SUV, which has been sold as the Geely E5 since April 2026 as part of the company’s international naming strategy.

Starray EM-i drives Geely’s growth

The second model introduced in Poland was the Starray EM-i plug-in hybrid, launched in September 2025. The vehicle quickly became an important part of the brand’s local sales.

More than 300 Starray EM-i vehicles were registered in Poland in July 2026. According to Geely, this made it the country’s second most frequently registered plug-in hybrid model during the month.

Dealer network reaches 20 locations

Geely is expanding its physical presence alongside its model range. The company now reports 20 sales points, with dealerships operating in major cities including Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, Gdansk, Szczecin, Lodz, Katowice and Lublin.

A larger dealer and service network is particularly important for newer automotive brands entering Poland. Competitive pricing can attract buyers, but access to servicing, spare parts and warranty support remains a major factor in purchasing decisions.

Monjaro EM-i targets a higher segment

The Monjaro EM-i is expected to become the largest Geely offered in Poland. The D-segment SUV uses a plug-in hybrid powertrain and will be positioned above the E5 and Starray EM-i.

Polish pricing and detailed specifications have not yet been announced. Its launch will nevertheless broaden Geely’s presence beyond the segments in which the company established its initial foothold.

Electric E2 opens a new market for the brand

The second planned launch is the Geely E2, a compact electric hatchback measuring just over 4.1 metres. The European version offers up to 345 km of WLTP range, rear-wheel drive and a luggage compartment ranging from 375 to 1,320 litres, supplemented by a 70-litre front storage compartment.

The E2 is strategically different from Geely’s existing Polish models. While the company has so far focused mainly on SUVs, the new EV will give it an entry into the more price-sensitive urban electric-car segment.

After its first year in Poland, Geely is therefore shifting from establishing brand awareness to increasing scale. A wider sales network and a four-model range could strengthen its position as Chinese carmakers compete for a larger share of Poland’s growing electrified-vehicle market.
