Fulfilio, an affiliate of the OEX Group, has acquired a majority stake in SellerSwitch, an Omni channel agency that provides comprehensive support for businesses starting and growing sales on the largest marketplace platforms in Europe and the US.
Thanks to this acquisition, Fulfilio will offer its customers not only logistic services but also sales support in e-commerce channels. Fulfilio also sees opportunities for growth in the trend of moving logistics processes to Poland and the growing attractiveness of Poland as a logistics hub for Asian companies.
“Thanks to the acquisition, we are expanding our competencies in the field of comprehensive customer service and creating a one-stop-shop offer. Currently we are taking over the responsibility for all the customer’s logistics processes. We can proudly say that we offer services at a world-class level, including integrations on e-commerce platforms and marketplaces, as well as supporting sales in these channels,” comments Arkadiusz Filipowski, CEO of Fulfilio.
SellerSwitch is an omnichannel agency that provides complex support for businesses starting and developing sales on the largest marketplace platforms in Europe and the US. It offers services for managing customer sales accounts on platforms such as Amazon, Kaufland, cDiscount, eMAG, eBay, Walmart, Allegro and Empik. The 8-years experience in collaborating with hundreds of clients has facilitated sales worth PLN 800 million (approx $212 million).
“The key to effectively developing foreign sales through platforms such as Amazon, Kaufland, cDiscount, Ebay or Walmart is a well-thought-out 3-stage scaling strategy and proven logistics solutions. For 8 years we have been helping entrepreneurs to develop product sales through Amazon and other marketplaces in foreign markets. I believe that combining SellerSwitch’s strategic competencies in the field of marketplace platforms with the logistics capabilities of Fulfilio will allow customers to scale their e-commerce business even faster in foreign markets,” comments Łukasz Szczęsny, CEO of SellerSwitch.
Whole owned by the OEX Group, Fulfilio offers its customers a full package of fulfilment services – the company sends around 2 million packages to 40 countries worldwide each year, managing a total warehouse area of 65,000 square meters. Its clientele includes companies like Bosch, 3M, Unilever and Nestle.
Fulfilio’s support goes beyond the borders of Poland. “We see huge potential associated with the development of business and expansion of Polish companies into foreign markets as well as foreign entities into the Polish market and we want to participate in this growth. We have a lot of experience in this area and that is why we guarantee customers a relatively easy debut on the foreign market. Logistics, as a crucial element of the purchasing process, largely determines how the brand is perceived by consumers,” evaluates Arkadiusz Filipowski, CEO of Fulfilio.
Poland, with its unique geographical position, qualified workforce, including IT, and modern warehouse spaces has been identified as a potential logistics hub for Asian companies, which will reportedly conduct sales in Europe from their operations in Poland.
