Froo, the modern convenience store chain launched by Żabka Group, has opened its 100th store in Romania—just 12 months after entering the market. This milestone confirms Froo’s dynamic growth and its rapidly rising position in the Romanian retail landscape.

Warmly received by customers, recognized by partners, and appreciated across the industry, the Froo format quickly earned a reputation as a modern, customer-focused retail concept. Its growing popularity is reflected not only in the rapid expansion of the network but also in consumer engagement—since the opening of the first store exactly one year ago, Froo has sold over 1 million hot dogs and more than 600,000 cups of coffee.

“In just one year, Froo has launched 100 locations—this is a significant step that confirms our ambition and the dedication of our teams in Romania and Poland. Since entering the Romanian market, Froo has been opening an average of one store every three days. The stores are located in cities such as Bucharest, Pitești, and Constanța, positioned both along high-traffic streets and in residential neighborhoods. These multifunctional stores offer a wide selection of everyday groceries and ready-to-eat meals. Froo Bistro provides aromatic coffee, hot snacks like pizza and panini, as well as a range of private label products. The offering reflects local consumer preferences, with more than 80% of the assortment sourced from well-known Romanian producers. This concept is encapsulated in Froo’s slogan: “Tot ce vrei tu în fiecare Froo” – “Everything you need, you’ll find in every Froo.”
