Revolut has announced the appointment of Kuba Fast as CEO of Revolut Bank UAB, its European banking entity headquartered in Lithuania. The decision was made following approval from the European Central Bank and the Bank of Lithuania.

Kuba Fast brings extensive experience in digital and retail banking to his new role. He joins Revolut from JPMorgan Chase, where he helped launch international consumer banking and served as CEO of Chase, the group’s digital bank in the United Kingdom. Earlier in his career, he held senior executive positions at Poland’s mBank SA and was also a partner at the consulting firm McKinsey & Company. He is a graduate of the MBA programme at Harvard Business School.

In his new role, Kuba Fast will join the team managing Revolut’s banking operations in the European Economic Area. The company is currently transitioning to a model based on two main operational centres, known as a dual-hub structure. Under this model, Revolut will develop its business through its existing licensed bank in Lithuania and its newly established banking hub in France, headed by Béatrice Cossa-Dumurgier, CEO for Western Europe.

As part of the leadership changes, Joe Heneghan, the previous CEO of Revolut Bank UAB, has taken on a new role as CEO of Revolut Holdings Europe UAB. In this position, he will oversee the holding company responsible for Revolut’s operations in the European Economic Area, focusing on strategy execution and ensuring regulatory compliance across European markets.

“We are delighted that Kuba is joining Revolut at such a pivotal moment in our European expansion. Kuba’s track record in developing digital banking, combined with his strong understanding of the regulatory environment, will be a significant addition to our leadership team. We believe he will help accelerate our European success and strengthen Revolut’s position as a leading bank on the continent,” said Nik Storonsky, co-founder and CEO of Revolut.

Dovile Grigiene, Chair of the Supervisory Board of Revolut Bank UAB, said that Kuba Fast’s experience in navigating both traditional banking structures and digital innovation fits perfectly with Revolut’s ambition to become the main bank for Europeans.

“His management expertise will be key to strengthening our relationships with market regulators and building a stable, secure and responsibly growing institution across the region,” Grigiene explained.

According to the new CEO, Kuba Fast, Revolut has fundamentally changed customers’ expectations of financial institutions.

“Taking on this role gives me the opportunity to help shape the next stage of Revolut’s banking development across the EEA. By creating modern solutions tailored to local markets and the everyday needs of more than 55 million European customers, we want to show that day-to-day money management can be simpler, more intuitive and simply much cheaper,” said Kuba Fast.
