COMPANIESEKIPA Holding Reports PLN 14.92 Million in Q1 Revenue and Expands Ambitious Growth Plans Despite Lower Profitability

EKIPA Holding S.A., listed on NewConnect, has published its financial results for the first quarter of 2025. Consolidated revenues amounted to PLN 14.92 million, up from PLN 12.65 million in the same period last year. EBITDA for the quarter came in at PLN 1.09 million, compared to PLN 2.3 million in Q1 2024, while net profit dropped to PLN 0.04 million from PLN 1.09 million.

One of the quarter’s key achievements was the premiere of the film “100 Days to Graduation”, which debuted on February 26 at Cinema City Bemowo. The premiere event attracted nearly 2,000 guests, including actors, creators, influencers, and media representatives. Endorsed by Poland’s Minister of National Education, the film drew over 320,000 viewers during its opening weekend, with total viewership exceeding 1 million – a result that confirms EKIPA’s ability to produce high-quality, engaging content.

“This marks another quarter of revenue growth, reaffirming the effectiveness of our business model,” said Łukasz Wojtyca, CEO of EKIPA Holding. “Last year’s record financial results enabled us to invest in new projects and scale our operations. In such a dynamic industry, maintaining investment momentum is critical. We aim to anticipate trends, not just respond to them. Our focus remains on building long-term value rather than short-term profitability. I’m proud of our team for creating a film that reached over one million viewers, which is especially meaningful for our subsidiary Laniakea, giving it invaluable experience for the future. We also completed another major initiative – T5M3 – a significant milestone in our development.”

To promote the film, EKIPA released an official poster (January 6), a theatrical trailer (January 7), and a music video for the track “Przestrzeń” by Trzech Króli (January 16). An educational competition in partnership with the Ministry of Education offered unique prizes, reinforcing the company’s commitment to social engagement. EKIPA also published a documentary on its YouTube channel titled “YOU CAN BE WHOEVER YOU WANT”, showcasing the behind-the-scenes creative process and serving as an inspiring story of passion, teamwork, and determination.

In the area of talent management, EKIPA launched the third edition of its “Your 5 Minutes” project on January 10. The initiative aims to discover and promote new online creators who could potentially join the EKIPA network.

Additionally, in Q1 2025, the company collaborated with ice cream brand Koral to launch new product variants. These included new ice cream sandwiches, refreshed versions of the iconic Ekipa ice creams, and an innovative flavor inspired by the song “Genzie”. This expansion highlights the effectiveness of EKIPA’s product development and branding strategy.

On February 19, the management board of subsidiary Ekipa Management Sp. z o.o. approved a new R&D project titled “Development and Implementation of a New Foreign Language Voice Synthesis Technology Using Artificial Intelligence”. The project received funding from the European Funds for Małopolska 2021–2027 program and will be conducted in cooperation with the Małopolska Centre for Entrepreneurship.

The first quarter of 2025 marked a period of rapid development for the entire EKIPA Group, with growth across multiple areas—from film and music production to e-commerce and advanced tech innovation.
