Creotech Quantum S.A., a Polish company specializing in the development and commercialization of quantum technologies, submitted a prospectus to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) on September 30, 2025. The move is part of the planned spin-off from Creotech Instruments and the introduction of its shares to trading on the regulated market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE). The separation will be carried out through a share split and will not involve raising new capital.
Spin-off to accelerate commercialization
Creotech Instruments began its work in quantum technologies in 2012. In April 2025, its Management Board decided to spin off the quantum segment into a standalone entity. Creotech Quantum was formally established in June 2025, with the division plan announced in late August. The aim of the spin-off is to accelerate commercialization of its solutions and ensure broader access to external financing sources, including SME-focused programs.

Four core pillars of Creotech Quantum
- Secure Communication (QKD): Quantum key distribution systems based on the laws of quantum physics, ensuring communication security that cannot be broken by quantum computers or other current or future computing methods.
- Quantum Processor Control and Error Correction (Sinara): Control systems for commercial quantum computers, using Sinara-family electronics, and development of cryogenic integrated circuits for ion processors (as part of the EU’s Quantum Flagship program).
- Precision Time Synchronization (White Rabbit): Hardware solutions distributing atomic clock-level time and frequency standards across critical infrastructure while transmitting classical data over the same medium.
- Astronomical Cameras: Development of the CreoSky 6000 SST advanced camera for ground-based astronomical and observational use, including observatories and ground stations.
Flagship projects and contracts
- In QKD, Creotech Quantum leads the eCAUSIS project for the European Commission, covering QKD devices, supply chains, integration, and cryptographic key management systems. A market launch of its proprietary QKD system is scheduled for 2026, making it one of the few European-made QKD solutions. The company holds full IP rights to the system.
- Creotech Quantum is also delivering three projects for the European Space Agency (ESA), including QKD ground station components and measurement systems, targeting public institutions and critical infrastructure operators.
- Within its quantum control systems division, the company produces both standalone modules and integrated systems, offers user training, and is developing a specialized camera for qubit readout – key for future error-correction systems.
- Creotech Quantum is part of two quantum computer integration projects for the European Commission: one under the Quantum Flagship (scalable control subsystem for quantum processors), and one under EuroHPC JU at the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PCSS), where it will co-develop hybrid algorithms and error correction integration.
- In time synchronization, Creotech is testing White Rabbit with private and public sector clients, including telecoms and ESA, with future applications in 5G/6G and strategic independence from GPS/GNSS.
- In astronomical cameras, the company sold its first CreoSky 6000 unit in August 2025 to the Teplice Observatory and Planetarium in the Czech Republic for €196,000. Further expansion of the product line is planned in Europe and the United States.
Leadership and governance
Creotech Quantum is led by Dr. Anna Kamińska (CEO) and Paweł Zienkiewicz (Vice President). The Supervisory Board includes Agnieszka Jasińska-Kołodziej (Chair), Włodzimierz Nowak (Vice-Chair), Marek Dietl, Bianka Siwińska, and Aleksander Szalecki.
Looking ahead
The spin-off positions Creotech Quantum to accelerate commercialization, access dedicated SME funding programs, and capitalize on growing demand for European quantum technology solutions. The company intends to debut on the WSE’s main market in Q2 2026.
