Corendon Airlines is steadily expanding its presence on the Polish market and has announced a new route to Hurghada, Egypt. The service will operate from two cities—Warsaw and Katowice—twice a week. The inaugural flight is scheduled for 1 November 2026.
Flights from Warsaw to Hurghada will depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with return services from Hurghada to Warsaw also operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The same schedule will apply to services from Katowice, with flights operating Wednesdays and Saturdays in both directions.
Ticket sales are expected to launch within the next two weeks. The new route will be operated by the proven Boeing 737-800, configured to carry 189 passengers.
Poland currently plays a key role in Corendon Airlines’ growth strategy. Rising demand for leisure destinations and strong cooperation with local partners mean the carrier views Poland as one of the most important points on its expansion map.
“Poland is now a strategic growth market for us. We see enormous potential both in the tourism segment and in long-term cooperation with business and sports partners. Launching flights to Hurghada from Warsaw and Katowice is another step in strengthening our presence in Central and Eastern Europe,”
says Yildiray Karaer, CEO of Corendon Airlines.
The new Hurghada route marks another stage in expanding Corendon’s network from Poland. Earlier, the airline added flights to Heraklion on Crete, which were met with a very positive market response and strong passenger interest.
The carrier also plans further network growth from Poland in upcoming seasons. New leisure destinations in North Africa and the Mediterranean region are in preparation, which will further strengthen Corendon’s holiday offering and its position in the outbound leisure travel market.
“We are consistently developing our offer from Polish airports, responding to growing demand for reliable and attractive holiday destinations. Hurghada is a natural addition to our route network and another step in building Corendon Airlines’ strong position in Poland,”
emphasizes Halina Strzyżewska, Country Sales Manager.
Corendon Airlines is also investing in strategic partnerships in sport and active lifestyles. The airline is a partner of Górnik Zabrze and the Polish Golf Federation, supporting the development of sport and promoting travel as part of a modern, active way of life. These partnerships align with the company’s long-term strategy to build brand recognition and strong ties with Polish fans and the wider sports community.
The launch of Hurghada services is further proof that Poland remains one of Corendon Airlines’ most important growth markets, as the carrier continues to expand its offer in response to passengers seeking comfortable, direct flights to popular holiday destinations.
