Cisco has announced the appointment of Przemysław Kania, former Managing Director of Cisco Poland, as Vice President responsible for the Service Provider market across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). In his new role, Kania will join the Cisco EMEA leadership team, reporting directly to Gordon Thomson, President of Cisco EMEA. He will lead the company’s regional market strategy in the Service Provider segment, focusing on growth, market expansion, and customer collaboration based on solutions and services that generate long-term value and recurring revenue.

Kania has been with Cisco since 1998, holding various leadership positions in engineering, sales, and services. He oversaw the establishment and dynamic expansion of the Global Customer Experience Centers (GCEC) in Krakow and Mexico.
For the past eight years, he served as Country Manager of Cisco Poland, leading sales and technical teams and strengthening partnerships with over 600 local Cisco partners.

Following Kania’s promotion and until a new Managing Director for Cisco Poland is appointed, Łucja Barbaszewska has been named Acting Country Leader.
