Capgemini has announced a new appointment within its management structure. Paweł Marciniak has been named Managing Director of the Market Segment Poland, assuming leadership of one of the organizational units within the Capgemini Europe Cluster. He succeeds Marek Woźny, who, as the former head of the Polish market segment, will now be responsible for the company’s strategy and development across the entire Eastern Europe & Austria region (Market Unit Eastern Europe & Austria).
Paweł Marciniak has been with Capgemini since 2007. Prior to taking on his new role, he served as Sales Director, where he was responsible for developing the company’s market segment in Poland. During this period, the Polish business achieved a twofold increase in sales while maintaining its targeted profitability. Earlier in his career at Capgemini, Marciniak worked within regional structures, contributing to the implementation of the Group’s strategy and participating in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) processes across Central and Eastern Europe. His professional experience also includes the development of technology partnerships with key IT solution providers such as SAP, IBM, Microsoft, and UiPath.
The new Managing Director of the Market Segment Poland is a graduate of Manchester Business School, where he earned a master’s degree in International Business & Management. He also completed General Management studies at Bocconi University. His managerial competencies and long-standing experience within Capgemini are seen as a strong foundation for pursuing the company’s further operational goals in the Polish market.
“Taking the helm of the Polish market segment is a natural step for me after years of co-creating Capgemini’s sales strategy,” said Paweł Marciniak, Managing Director of Market Segment Poland at Capgemini. “My priority will be to continue the direction set by Marek Woźny, with a strong focus on supporting our clients in their digital transformation. We aim to further strengthen Capgemini’s position as a trusted and strategic partner for customers in Poland, leveraging the potential of our local teams and the Group’s global expertise.”
“Over the years, Paweł has consistently demonstrated his effectiveness in scaling Capgemini’s business in Poland,” added Marek Woźny, CEO of Market Unit Eastern Europe & Austria at Capgemini. “His deep understanding of the local market and his experience in sales management make him a natural choice for this role. I am confident that under his leadership, the Polish market will continue to grow dynamically, delivering the highest quality digital transformation services to our clients.”
Marek Woźny will now focus on developing the Market Unit Eastern Europe & Austria, a strategic area he has managed since July 2025. Under his leadership to date, the Polish arm of Capgemini has built a strong market position based on consistent and robust operational performance. His experience in building effective local structures will now be applied to scaling the company’s activities and strengthening its presence across Eastern Europe and Austria.
