Business-Driven Deregulation Project Gains Momentum

LAWBusiness-Driven Deregulation Project Gains Momentum

At the request of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, entrepreneur Rafał Brzoska has taken on the task of reviewing the Polish legal framework to identify regulations that are excessive, unnecessary, or burdensome for entrepreneurs. The initiative, which has been underway for two months, currently involves several hundred contributors. A dedicated website – www.SprawdzaMY.com – has already recorded several million visits, allowing users to submit their deregulation suggestions. So far, nearly 15,000 ideas have been submitted, and over 300 deregulation proposals have been published on the site.

Regular meetings are being held between Prime Minister Tusk and the “SprawdzaMY” Initiative led by Brzoska.

“Rafał Brzoska’s team is actively working on these projects, and the current acceptance rate of the proposals exceeds 60%,” said Jacek Socha, Project Coordinator for the SprawdzaMY Initiative, in a statement to eNewsroom.pl. “We are still processing many suggestions that are in development. If cooperation with the government continues smoothly, we estimate that around 80% of the deregulation proposals could be adopted through legislative channels.”

Socha emphasized that the initiative is primarily focused on supporting small and medium-sized Polish enterprises. The goal is to simplify operations, improve business conditions, and enhance economic security. The team plans to complete its work by the end of May, aiming to submit more than 300 deregulation proposals to the government.

“We continue to collect public feedback and comments through our website, which has received significant attention. The next step will truly embody the spirit of our project – we will analyze to what extent the government and parliament adopt the deregulation proposals coming directly from Polish businesses,” Socha added.
