Bloober Team Group generated more than PLN 28 million in sales revenue in the first quarter of this year. EBITDA of the Kraków-based game developer increased by more than 26% year on year, reaching PLN 10 million.
The company is now approaching one of the most interesting months in its history in terms of announcements of upcoming titles. The first news can be expected during Summer Game Fest in Los Angeles.
The absence of a major release affected the first-quarter result. According to the company, however, this was neither unexpected nor surprising.
“This was mainly related to the high amortisation of the game Cronos: The New Dawn,” explained Piotr Babieno, CEO of Bloober Team.
The company’s cash position at the end of the reporting period increased to nearly PLN 28 million.
At the beginning of June, Bloober Team will appear at one of the most important industry events in the world — Summer Game Fest in Los Angeles.
“We are moving strongly forward. We have a very hot period ahead of us in terms of announcements. I think we will provide the market with a solid dose of positive emotions,” said Piotr Babieno.
