Bartosz Grześkowiak will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer of ISON Group. The appointment marks another step in the organization’s development and is aimed at strengthening its position in the non-life insurance distribution segment while accelerating international expansion. Grześkowiak will replace Roman Czarnowski, the long-serving CEO of ISON Group (previously Punkta, formerly BIK Brokers), who led the company for more than 25 years.

Bartosz Grześkowiak is a manager with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, having been involved in the corporate insurance segment throughout his career. Prior to joining ISON Group, since April 2024 he served as a member of the management board of PZU S.A., where he participated in the development and implementation of the PZU Group’s strategy for 2025–2027 and was responsible for launching a key international expansion project. At the same time, he was actively involved in supervisory roles, serving as chairman of the supervisory board of TUW PZUW, vice chairman of the supervisory board of Bank Pekao S.A., and vice chairman of the Audit Committee of the Polish Insurance Association.

Earlier, since 2018, he was associated with the MAK Group as vice president of MAK Ubezpieczenia and STBU Brokerzy Ubezpieczeniowi. From 2011, he held the position of managing director at TUiR WARTA S.A., where he was responsible for leading the Corporate Insurance Department and co-creating and executing the company’s strategy. Between 2005 and 2011, he worked at UNIQA Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń S.A., where he held managerial roles before becoming director of the broker sales channel.

“ISON Group is entering a new stage of development, responding to the growing needs of the insurance market and leveraging the potential of specialized organizations that combine expert knowledge, scale, and a modern approach to distribution. The company has strong foundations to capitalize on this potential and consistently strengthen its position in key market segments. We would like to thank Roman for his fruitful cooperation so far, as well as for more than 25 years of commitment to building the growth and value of ISON Group and creating the foundations for further scaling of the organization. We believe that Bartek’s experience in developing and implementing strategies and managing complex development projects in the insurance sector will provide strong support in achieving these ambitions,” said Krzysztof Kulig, Senior Partner at Innova Capital.

Grześkowiak’s appointment as CEO is part of a natural succession process within ISON Group. His primary objective will be to further develop the company’s non-motor insurance business and build a strong international presence.

Bartosz Grześkowiak will assume his new role at ISON Group after completing all formal obligations toward PZU Group.
