Leadership Changes at Arval: Robert Antczak Appointed Regional General Manager for Central Europe, Emilie Wirth Takes Over as Head of Arval Poland.
As part of a promotion and expansion within Arval’s international structure, Robert Antczak, previously General Manager of Arval Poland, has been appointed Regional General Manager for Central Europe, where he will oversee operations across six markets in the region. The leadership of the Polish branch has been taken over by Emilie Wirth, a long-time Arval executive with 26 years of experience in sales, business development, and international projects. In her new role, Wirth will report directly to Antczak and continue to strengthen Arval’s position in Poland, focusing on electromobility, innovation, and customer services.
Robert Antczak Takes on a New Regional Role
After six successful years as General Manager of Arval Poland, Robert Antczak has been promoted to Regional General Manager for Central Europe within Arval’s global structure. He will be responsible for Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Greece—supervising the strategic management and business development of these markets while supporting local Arval teams in achieving their business goals.
“This is a time of change and new opportunities — for the company and for me personally. My new role means overseeing more than 170,000 vehicles across six markets. I will focus on implementing our strategic ambitions under the Arval 2026 & Beyond plan and on further strengthening Arval’s position in Central Europe. Poland remains a key market within this region, which makes the appointment of a new General Manager in Warsaw particularly important. I am confident that Emilie’s experience will ensure the continued dynamic growth of Arval in Poland,”
said Robert Antczak, Regional General Manager for Central Europe at Arval.
Antczak has been part of the BNP Paribas Group since 2015, where he served as Managing Director for Corporate and SME Banking at BNP Paribas Bank Poland. Since December 2019, he has held the position of General Manager at Arval Service Lease Polska. Additionally, since 2020, he has been serving his third consecutive term as President of the Polish Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (PZWLP).
Emilie Wirth Appointed General Manager of Arval Poland
Effective October 2025, Emilie Wirth takes over as General Manager of Arval Service Lease Polska. With 26 years at Arval, she brings extensive experience in sales, business development, and international leadership, having worked across key roles in the Arval Group and BNP Paribas structures.
Wirth began her career at Arval in 1999 in France, holding progressively senior positions such as Sales Team Leader, Regional Director, and later Head of International Business Development at the group’s headquarters. In 2010, she joined Arval Central as the company’s first International Key Account Manager, before leading teams responsible for international business expansion.
In subsequent years, she headed the team that launched the Arval Flex subscription-based flexible rental model, developing medium-term rental products (under 24 months) and Multilife mobility solutions. Since 2021, as Retail Director at Arval Group, she has led a global team managing the retail segment in 30 countries, with a focus on digitalization and automation of sales processes.
“It’s with great enthusiasm that I begin this new chapter of challenges, which I intend to pursue together with the Arval Poland team. I am deeply grateful for the warm welcome I’ve received. Poland is a country with a dynamic economy, a high degree of automation, and a modern approach to business. I’m confident that we’ll achieve great things together,”
said Emilie Wirth, General Manager of Arval Service Lease Polska.
In her new position, Wirth will work directly with Robert Antczak, aligning the Polish branch’s strategy with regional priorities.
Continuing Growth and Strategic Focus
Under Robert Antczak’s leadership, Arval Poland doubled the scale of its operations, strengthened its position as the market leader in full-service vehicle leasing, and grew its fleet to over 80,000 vehicles, despite challenging market conditions.
Emilie Wirth will continue this growth trajectory, focusing on expanding Arval’s offering in electromobility, fleet transformation, and Mobility as a Service (MaaS). Her appointment marks the next step in Arval’s commitment to sustainable innovation and customer-centered solutions across Central Europe.
