CMS has announced the appointment of Andrzej Pośniak to the Executive Committee, the global management board of CMS. This is a key body responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm and for making strategic decisions concerning its further development at the international level.
Andrzej Pośniak’s appointment to the Executive Committee is another confirmation of his role within CMS structures and of the importance of Central and Eastern Europe in the firm’s global strategy.
In his new role, Andrzej Pośniak will draw on his many years of experience gained on both regional and international markets, supporting the implementation of CMS’s strategic priorities and strengthening the consistency of activities between individual regions.
Since May 2019, Andrzej Pośniak has served as Managing Partner of CMS in Poland, where he has been responsible for the strategic development of the firm and for strengthening its position as one of the leading law firms on the domestic market.
As of 1 April 2026, he also began a four-year term as Managing Director of CMS for Central and Eastern Europe, assuming responsibility for coordinating activities and further developing CMS operations across the region.
“Joining the Executive Committee makes it possible to look at the development of CMS from the perspective of the entire organisation and to actively participate in setting its long-term direction. This is a role focused on strategy, consistency of activities between regions and further building CMS’s strong position in a dynamically changing market environment,” comments Andrzej Pośniak.
Andrzej Pośniak is also a member of the Board of the British Polish Chamber of Commerce, where he is actively involved in developing economic cooperation between Poland and the United Kingdom and in supporting dialogue between business and institutions within the economic environment.
