AGH University of Krakow and the Polish Dual Use Chamber have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening Poland’s ecosystem for dual-use technologies and closer collaboration between science, business, public administration and the security sector.

The agreement was signed during the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce. Cooperation will cover research and development, technology transfer, support for startups and spin-offs, training, regulatory analysis and efforts to secure financing for joint projects.

One focus will be FORT Kraków, an initiative developed by AGH together with the Kraków Technology Park. The ecosystem connects researchers, technology companies, the Polish Armed Forces and industry, including programmes linked to NATO DIANA.

AGH researchers are working on technologies including satellite systems, anti-ballistic armour, autonomous vehicles, drone swarms, mine detection, situational-awareness systems, camouflage and tools to counter disinformation.
